OK so today was the Fall Festival. I thought I would be so laid back on this one but I wasn't. Both my boy's are mobile and therefore, so am I. I felt like I needed 3 me's. One me for Jake, one me for Josh, and one me to enjoy myself. I think maybe next year I will have more fun. I told Charlie today that if the kids are not any different, I will not go next year. It is just too hard to run after both kids at the same time.
I never did eat anything the whole time I was there. I never even had a drink. So I came home and wiped out a Pepsi. Still a bit hungry though. I would like to go and get something to eat in a little bit.
Some of the Phoenix Mommies showed up. It was Leslie, Patricia, and Mandy. I was super happy to see them. But I had made the mistake of sitting where the Snow Cone Machine was because Charlie was in charge of Snow Cones. Well, that was right where the DJ was and it was so loud. I couldn't hear anyone or anything!
So I hear the OJ was finally found guilty of something. Now I can only hope that does not saturate everything we see and read. Sentence the guy and let it go. No more press, no more books, no more analyzing. But I do have to say this. I was surprised he was found guilty. Though not because I didn't think he did whatever it was he did but because those who testified against him were so slimy. As if anyone of class would hang around OJ Simpson. You pay for your friendship with your life. But anyway, I mean, I was suprised because from what I heard, these people pretty much saved their own skins by testifying against him. To me, no matter who is on trial, that really depreciates that subjects credibility. So you cannot tell me OJ's past did not catch up to him in this case. I think it finally did. And I guess we will know how much it caught up to him once sentencing comes down. Should be sort of interesting. But beyond that, I hope it doesn't interrupt my shows during the day or takeover any one particular channel. I feel like OJ has benefited quite enough by killing those 2 people. Let's not glorify him anymore.
I just have to say something. I am sitting here and it is SO quiet, it is eerie. I love it. My mind is finally not screaming inside, just please let it be 7pm so these children of the corn will go to bed!
So Charlie actually did something romantic. I know most women think of romance as flowers, candles, food but not me. Even if he changes a poopy diaper, it's amore'! He actually purchased tickets to see Kathy Griffin. I have no idea where he got the money and frankly I did not ask and I did not care. Wow, that is selfish of me, isn't it? But I really want to go. I always said if she came to PHX, I wanted to see her. Well, she is and I am and oh my gosh. I am SO happy! So now I just have to find that dream babysitter so I can rest my mind and have a good time. I like Kathy for several reason (we are first name basis, yes). I like that she is not Hollywood. I like that she not only laughs at these ridulous boobs but she tells true stories of their idiotic behavior. I call her the People's Celebrity. And isn't it funny how she is outshining them all for being exactly opposite of what Hollyweird stands for? Love it!
Speaking of that. I read Maxim Mag........Gotta go...Mr. Romance is waiting for me. BBL I hope. If not, I will continue my story later. It's about Tom "Fruitcake" Cruise.
