My Moms test was not good. I cannot talk about it.

WOW did America speak and speak loud or what?
How did we go from a complete boob that cannot put a sentence together to someone who gave one of the most beautiful speeches I have ever heard?
Wow are we one confused nation. I hope people see now what a real president should be like and sound like. Even if he turns out to be horrible, his speaking skills are amazing and it sure puts a lot of faith into him.
Now lets hope he takes our vote and does right by us and we do right by him as well. He has called all of us out to help him help us. So I hope that wakes people up that need to volunteer in their communities and do what it takes to make this a better place for our children. He has clearly stated he cannot do this without our help. Message heard loud and clear and I hope people are far less apathetic and get up do something for themselves. Our government cannot fix everything but they sure can break a lot. I sat and wondered if Obama was ticked at Bush for the mess he put us into. I wondered when he got that phone call if he was thinking "ya, thanks a lot. Now I have to fix your 8 years of mess". So though Obama was not my first pick (Hillary was), I am willing to give him time to fix things. It will not be easy. Every institution in this country is broken. He needs to do some triage and take whats worse, first and then work on everything else. When Arnold got voted in, the same thing. CA. was such a huge mess but he got in there and took thing by thing and fixed it. In fact he is still working on things. So I expect the same result from Obama. It will take time and I just know people will use that and say "See, he cannot do it. He was not ready." I would like to see any of you get up there and try to fix this very broken country. Put yourselves in his shoes. That's what I thought.......if you think you can do better, than do it. Volunteer, run for office, donate time or money, do your part.

Do you ever turn on your disposal and just pray nothing is in it? So you're running the water and it gets a bit filled so you need to run your disposal. Isn't it always a hope and pray situation?
First, you don't want to ruin any silverware. It is so hard to throw it way even when it is chopped up. Have you ever eaten off a chopped up spoon though? May as well be glass you are eating off of. Or even worse, it isn't silverware, it is something like a small nut for a toy that you now have to dig around and find in the disposal. I once had a battery go down and get chopped up. That was fun. I was so afraid of getting battery acid on my hands! Then I have this fear my disposal will take on a life of its own and turn itself on while my hand is in there. That's from watching too many horror movies LOL!
