Bunco Night

OK so last night was Bunco night. I had a blast! Mandy met me at my house and we drove over to Sarahs house. There were 10 people in total playing. So we only had 2 ghosts. Of course, I was right in the middle and didn't win anything but who cares, it is fun money or no money. OK but I did an "Andi" I didn't count of one my games. Thankfully I was no where near a total loss or a big win. No matter what I had down, I was still in the middle.
I am hoping I can make it next month. I will be post-op 12 days so we will see how I am doing.
I am hosting Feb and I already have my neighbor Rae, me, Chelsea, Charlie's Mom, and then whatever PM people come too.

So I am on Lexapro. I am managing the side effects with Xanax which is working out pretty well. I would like to come off the Xanax if I can but the side effects of the Lexapro are pretty bad. So I want to try to work through them as best as I can. I would love to be able to fly again and go places. I am putting a lot of hope and faith into this medication. It would be so great if this was "the one". Kind of like my Bentyl was. After 14 years of pure suffering, one Dr., one pill and wow, within 24 hours I was better. I do not think Lexapro will be that life-changing but I will hope it at least gets me to a semi-normal point and able to handle menopause.

I took the boys for a walk with Babar on Saturday down to Rae's house. The boys and Babar like to look at their cats. They have 4 cats and they are so cute. So we went down there and on the way back, I see a German Shepard out of the corner of my eye coming across the street. I literally said "UH OH" out loud and yelled for Charlie. Well, Charlie was on the top roof hanging lights and could not get down. So this dog goes down to the ground, totally submissive, but starts biting Babar at the feet. So Babar freaks out and I am just standing there because I have the boy's with me. So the owner comes out of his garage (he is a neighbor but I don't know his name) and I yell at him "why isn't your dog on a leash?" He doesn't respond and goes back into the garage. So later he comes over to see if Babar is ok and apologize. I have to give him a lot of credit. That could not have been easy at all. I don't think I would have done it because I would have been too embarrassed. But he manned up and came over. Pretty impressive I thought.

Tonight I am participating in a Foucs Group on potty training pants. LOL! Not for me, for Josh.
Tomorrow I see my counselor for the first time. So we will see how that goes.
