Even the word Monday just sounds drab. Doesn't it?
OK so really quick. I am off to Gymboree this morning with Miss Mandi and the West Valley Moms Playgroup. I just joined them and so I will meeting some members this morning. I am excited! The kids are dressed in their Okies (cozy fun clothes) and we are ready to go.
OK so when I get home I will write more. Subjects:
Coyote Flake
Dirty Money
I think I may have told this story before. If so, sorry. So while we were living in Wildomart, we had little to no animal services. This includes dead animal pick up. Well, someone hit a coyote and it never got picked. Day after day it got flatter and flatter. Drier and drier. Then it just became this weird coyote flake that started to slowly blw away with every car that went by or ran it over again. Well, it seems like there has been an inordinate amount of run over animals lately around here and the 10. I do not know where our dead animal pick up has gone but I see the beginnings on cat flake, dog flake, rabbit flake, and coyote flake. So yummy in the morn!
The Gymboree thing went really well. My children had a blast. The only semi-bad thing that happened at Gymboree was that someone bit Jake really hard. It looks really bad on his lilly white skin. So I will make sure I keep an eye on it. I wish I knew who did it so I could watch Jake more closely when he is around that child.
Josh is currently passed out in the doorway of the office behind me. I could not get him to take a nap. I think I am going to give up on even asking. Wherever he ends up, he ends up. It doesn't bother me. I am so over being ridgid. Maybe it is an age thing but I am much more casual about things with the boys than I was with Chelsea.
So while I was at my Moms Night Out (MNO from now on). Lynnette was talking about how she would count money at the end of the night where she worked. She said she and her co-workers would sit and eat M&M's and stuff not even thinking about how dirty the money was. I would have never thought about it either. But have you noticed lately that there have been oodles of shows all toting around their little ultaviolet lights to show us all how dirty we are. How dirty phone are, hotel sheets and floors, money, public handles, etc. Yes, I appreciate the information but has that information now hurt us? I mean I think we are all so careful with handwashing and using santizier but yet all new illnesses keep appearing. Illnesses that are resistent to our antibiotics. One of my greatest interests has always been epidemiology. So I have to sit and wonder was it the chicken or the egg. Have the diseases come about because we are trying to wipe them out or have we all gotten more careful because of the diseases that are popping up? Interesting huh?
Went to the Buckeye Air Show on Saturday. It was yet again a wonderful event. We had so much fun! Saw some of the girls on my Social Services Committee. Chelsea and Charlie went on helicopter rides. Chelsea won one raffle and I won the other so they were free. Saw some of our awesome firefighters and police officers whom I totally adore. There were hot air balloon rides, a huge display of working remote airplanes including a jet and a helicopter, the jets were there again, oh, it was just so cool. Can't wait till next year!
Thats it for now, Josh just woke up.
Hugs to all!
