Great inventive title, eh? Big surprise, too tired to think.
So soap scum. It bothers me. How can the epitome of clean be scum? I just do not get it. The one thing that is supposed to get you and your belongings the cleanest has a scum factor? That scum can be nasty too. Slimy, discoloring, and even needs special cleaners to clean what is supposed to be clean. How weird is that?
So as I sat this morning looking at my soap scum and weed wacked my legs, sadness fell over me. Winter is over. Here we go from Winters of 60's to Summers of 90+. Yesterday was 91 according to my truck. Who the heck needs weather people? They say 80 something I say my truck temp. was way more accurate. It was hot. I am sure some of that is because I am menopausal and hot all the time. I love our Winters here. Nice and cool. Just beautiful.
Sigh, Summer is upon us. Now I have to shave my darned legs. Ugh. I rather love my Winter coat on my legs.
No plans really for today. I need to buy diapers. I would like to wait until later though when I will not have to manage the corn children by myself. So we will see if I can hold out. Yesterday they went through about a doz. diapers. So we will see how far I can push today without having droopy drawers or smells so bad it peels paint.
Yesterday I got Josh's IEP done. I was supposed to go over and register him but forgot my proof of residency. As if everyone is dying to be in the Buckeye District. I would think my word would be good enough. Not so. So I had to drive all the way home to get a bill and by then the children of the corn had checked out and were ready for a nap. I have to get him registered today because he starts school on Monday. So I figure this afternoon after lunch will be a good time.
OK need to go, the corn kids are too quiet. I will attempt to be back later.
Oh before I forget, I joined this group and love it:

Lots of activities and I love the person who runs it. She is kind, considerate, and everyone really likes her. She has already written me and email. She is already a plus in my book. I like how diplomatic she is too. I've already gone to a few activities and they were a blast!
Really quick story before I forget. While at the Airshow I had run into Debbie who is head of my committee for Buckeye. Anyway, she asked us to fill out these surveys and we would be entered into a raffle for helicopter rides and other things. That is how we won the helicopter rides. So about 30 minutes after we filled things out we hear "OK folks, we are doing our first raffle. If you hear your name, you have 30 minutes to respond for your prize. Here we go. Chelsea with no last name. Chelsea with no last name. If you are Chelsea with no last name, you have won a helicopter ride" Well, gee, who could that be? I think everyone knows by now that Chelsea is special needs. These are the kinds of things that she does. Sometimes funny, sometimes annoying, always Chelsea. So now we have been calling her Chelsea With No Last Name. Next time you see her, make sure you remind her she has no last name LOL!
While on the subject one other quick sotry because Jake is whining at me. Charlie, Chelsea, myself, and Josh (pre-Jake) went into Cabela's to get something for Charlie's trip to Alaska. When we walked in Chelsea pointed and said "look Mom fish sticks". She was pointing at the fishing poles. LOL!
