So behind!

OK let me catch up a little.
First, please send thoughts and prayers to my friend Cynthia. Her daughter Breana is in ICU at St. Joe's with pneumonia. I called this morning and got a text back but no update. So I am going to bug her again here shortly.
Cynthia was the one who came in week after week and cared for the boy's after my chemo treatments. Her and her parents have been life savers!

Second a huge congrats to my BFF Bern. Her second to her last son David is graduating high school! I got the most beautiful announcement with his handsome photo in it. I cannot believe that young man is about to graduate. How time flies!

Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms, friends, neighbors, and family. I lazed around and had a great Mother's Day!

Addition:
A Newborn's Conversation with God A baby asked God,
"They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?"
God said, "Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you."
The child further inquired, "But tell me, here in heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy."
God said, "Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy."
Again the small child asked, "And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?"
God said, "Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak."
"And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?"
God said, "Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray." "Who will protect me?"
God said, "Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life." "But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore."
God said, "Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you." At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked,
God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name."

God said, You will simply call her, "Mom."

Monday was Chelsea's birthday. I had ordered cupcakes in the number 16 with white whipped cream frosting and pink polka dots. So I ran over picked them up, rushed to her school, and surprised her. The class sung Happy Birthday and then I took Josh to school. I think she enjoyed the moment.
Saturday we took Amy and Chelsea to Ah-So. I had a babysitter all lined up. Of course, she flaked on me and bless Mandy, she watched the boy's for us while we enjoyed a dinner. The last time we enjoyed a quiet dinner was when Nicole came over and watched the boy's and we went and saw Kathy Griffin. That was November. Before that, I don't think we have ever had a dinner alone. It was really nice!

Saturday before the dinner Josh had his first swim lesson. I know, it was supposed to be the Saturday before but I got there and the instructor informed me that the lesson was at 9:30 and they forgot to call me to tell me. One good thing came out of it though. I was wearing a Tshirt at the time because I was throughly embarrassed by my hideous appearance in a swimsuit. But there was one other person in the pool who was about my size and his hairy rear was hanging out. So I was thrilled to see him and felt very comfortable getting in the pool in my suit minue tshirt. So thank you hair butt man!
The lesson went well. It was outside because they were cleaning the inside pool. The instructor was filling in for our regular instructor. She was pretty slow and obviously did not know what she was doing. It worked out well though because we went nice and slow and it was what Josh needed.

So my freezer and fridge outside died within days of each other. So Friday the Sears guy came out and I have to replace both. So this weekend we are going to get a new freezer. Ugh.

Monday was Bunco. It was SO much fun and I actually almost won. I tied but lost the roll off. I can't wait for next month's game.

Last night was my CAP meeting. I didn't have to run it this time and it was a great meeting. We have lots of things to do for Buckeye!

Today we are doing haircuts because Josh has a school performance on Monday. I am so excited!

SO much going on! Hence my lack of updates. But I am trying, do I get an A for effort?
Love to all!
