I started out in the OPIV Room which is Out Patient IV. I was supposed to get blood taken. Once again my port was not working, whats new. So I went downstairs. I wanted for nearly 2 hours and they were able to get me in. They put me under the FluroScope Machine, pushed some dye in and I saw everything. My heart was beating (always a good thing), my lungs, and my port line. My port looked beautiful! I saw the dye and followed it right to my heart. All was perfect. My port line is lying up against my Vena Cava and that is the reason it is a little funky. So the problem with it is purely positional. Great news!
All I need during the next surgery is my Plastic Surgeon, my Gyn, and my general surgeon. My Vascular Surgeon doesn't need to be in on the surgery. Yea!
I think I may have worked out my daycare problem too. My savior Cynthia said she would watch the boys Thursday, great news! She also said her new place isn't that far. I am hoping that is the case! I am willing to give it a try.
Thursday I will get to see how bad my hernia really is. I mean I can see it from outside my skin but I want to see what is going on inside too. Or maybe I don't!
Tonight is our HOA meeting. I want to go but we will see how I feel here in a few hours. I still need to make dinner, get the kids all ready for bed, etc. Charlie has been watching the kids all day by himself. Poor guy. He rarely does it. In fact, I think he has only done it 3 or so times and only for a short period of time. He is watching them right now. I can hear them back there throwing a fit. Mom of the Year, sitting in here typing away. But if I don't get things out, I forget them.
So Charlie was really smart and put the HOA signs out Saturday. That somewhat ensures everyone knows about it and more people come. We actually have a pretty great turn out. The yearly meeting was a huge turn out. I was impressed. I sort of knew ahead of time that it would be a good turn out because someone took the A of HOA and so it said HO MEETING on my sign. I thought it was funny. So when I went to the meeting, I told my one of my fellow HOA Members and he blankly stared at me. Ugh. I thought I had no sense of humor. Michelle (Member at Large) assumed it was teens. She was probably right. At least she smiled when I told her.
I miss being on the HOA but there was a board member that I do not get along with so when he was voted back in, I was happy that I stepped down. He is only on for a 1 year term so I am hoping he will step down next year. I still cannot quite figure out what he has contributed the last year. Almost everyone serves on boards and committees, hands out flyers, volunteers, shows up, etc. except him and one other member (but she went into foreclosure anyway and is gone). If you don't have the time to volunteer to be on the board, don't run! Simple as that! But whatever.

OK I really need to go because I am sure Charlie is ready to run away with the next circus that comes into town. It would be much calmer and safer than being around these children!
I will try to write more later.
